1. Time with my favorite girls. The girls had several days off from school in the last month. We haven't really done anything special- but that's what I've loved about those days. Sometimes a run to the grocery store can be fun with these two.
2. The smell of tea in the morning. The mornings around here are a bit of a whirlwind since the girls go to separate schools and are on different schedules. Once everyone is on their way, I spend a little time steeping my tea and enjoying it before I launch into my own busy day.
3. Fearless females. I'm pretty proud to be raising two fearless females. Mandy seems to have always known exactly who she is. I'm so glad that she's comfortable in her own skin.
4. New yarn. During the month of December & January I had the privilege of working with a wonderful group of teens as they prepared to present "The Snow Queen", a musical at our local community theatre. At the end of the production they generously gave me a gift certificate to a local yarn store. (yay!) I used it on Saturday to buy this lovely yarn.
I'll show you what it's becoming eventually.
