Happy Monday everyone!
I hope your week is off to a great start. I thought I'd do a little fly-by on the blog here this morning and tell you what's going on.
To say that my eating has been off-track lately is a huge understatement.
The amount of junk that has gone into my mouth is alarming!
I first did The Fast Metabolism Diet in mid-April. The cycle is 28 days long and author Haylie Pomroy recommends doing the cycle a few time per year.
So, I took a long, hard look at the calendar and decided that today is the day to start.
I enjoyed celebrating Mandy's birthday this weekend and I indulged in cookie cake and pizza. Then yesterday we went to one of our favorite summer hangouts and had hot dogs and curly fries. I'm officially splurged-out and ready to get back on track.
Today began Phase 1 with strawberry french toast. (made with egg whites and Ezekiel bread)
I also filled out the meal map with the whole week's meals and snacks.
Of course it's on pink paper- it's festive that way!
