Guess what? It's Friday!
And despite the fact that the view out my window is very rainy and dreary, I'm always glad to see the weekend arrive.
I'm getting very excited to start 31 Days of Yoga in July. My initial goal with this project was to reach 20 yogis & wanna-be-yogis. That seemed like plenty. The group has already surpassed that number and I couldn't be happier. You can still be a part of it- just fill out the form HERE. It's FREE... you've got nothing to lose & everything to gain.
So let's see, how about a few highlights from the past week.
Katie & Mandy are swimming on their swim team again this summer. So, we've spent a whole lot of time hanging around the pool and everyone in the house has a faint odor of chlorine on them.
I've been for a few long walks with Ruger...
...who is committed to napping as much as possible this summer.
Last weekend Ken swam across Presque Isle Bay for the 4th time. It's a one-mile open water swim and this year he got a personal best time of 24 minutes.
I must admit I was a little shocked to hear his name announced so quickly!
Katie snapped a picture of us in the car after the swim. It would probably be a good picture if it wasn't for the big glare on my head.
This weekend I'm gearing up to run 10 miles. I've done it before, but it never gets less intimidating. 10 miles is a long way for me. I'm really hoping the thunderstorms move out for at least some of the morning tomorrow.... I'll do 10 on the treadmill if I must, but it will be a lot more fun outside with a friend.
