SBBC Week in Review- Endings & Beginnings

I can't believe the Spring Bootie Buster Challenge is over this week.
It went so fast for me.  I just love the motivation of this group.
I find the points very motivating- I never want to have to enter a zero in a column.

Amanda from Run to the Finish is already looking ahead toward a June Clean Eating Challenge- I'll be sure to share details here as soon as they are available.

I'm also wrapping up Week 3 of The Fast Metabolism Diet .  I am getting more comfortable with the diet as time goes by.  I love packing my snacks as I do my running around.
No more desperate stops at a drive-thru for mystery meat.

 Now I've got nitrate-free roast beef slices with cucumber handy.

Today I started a program called The Ultimate Yogi.  It's a series of DVDs that take you through 108 days of yoga.  Wow.  I did the first one today and friends, these are no joke.

I'll be sharing lots more about the program as I move through it 
and I'll have a little something for you, too! :) (sorry, I'm such a tease sometimes)

My hips have really been giving me trouble lately.  I tried a different brand of running shoes this winter and I think I need to go back to my faithful Asics.  As spring has arrived and I'm doing just a few more miles my hips are speaking up.

But also, I think that area of my body is just not very flexible. 
 I think maybe 108 days of yoga might help. I'll let you know.

So, here's how my final week of SBBC shaped up:

Monday:
30 minute run- 3 pts
Fruits & Veggies- 1 pt
Water- 1 pt

Tuesday:
30 minute run- 3 pts
Fruits & Veggies- 1 pt
Water- 1 pt

I took this guy to a park & had a little company for my run.

Wednesday:
20 mins. weight lifting- 2 pts
Fruits & Veggies- 1 pt
Water- 1 pt

Thursday:
20 mins. weight lifting- 2 pts
Fruits & Veggies- 1 pt
Water- 1 pt

Friday:
20 mins. yoga- 2 pts
30 min. swim- 3 pts
Fruits & Veggies- 1 pt
Water- 1 pt

Saturday:
The Ultimate Yogi- 8 pts
Fruits & Veggies- 1 pt
Water- 1 pt
