Good morning friends!
I hope your week started well. The University I work for is on spring break right now so I have a little extra time on my hands. I plan to use that time to indulge in all of my hobbies. I'm going to run, knit, read & work with my puppy on his training.
I'm also participating in a lenten project called 40 Bags in 40 Days. You can read the original post from my friend Pamela at the Smokin' Hot Mama Club website. The idea is that each day during lent I'll get ride of one bag of stuff in my house. I'll donate some of it, throw some away or pass it along to people who can use it. Pamela calls it "crap" but I disagree. Much of what I'm passing along is perfectly good, useful stuff. I just don't happen to have a use for it anymore.
Today I get to host a LIVE chat over on MomTV.com at 1:00 PM ET. I hope you'll be able to join me as we talk about facing your fitness fears as well as having patience with ourselves.
This morning I'm headed to the gym to swim. I've chosen a workout from my favorite swimming book, Janet Evans' Total Swimming. She includes over 50 workouts in the book. I can successfully complete about 6 of them. They are brutal. If you don't hear from me later, I'm at the bottom of the pool. Send help.
