BBB, Weekly Goals & Being a Mom/Cheerleader

Well friends, I'm sitting here on a Sunday evening and I'm glad to be at home.

We've had an amazing week full of my favorite combination- good music and good friends.

Katie is performing in Godspell at the Erie Playhouse.  Mandy is loving her role as stage manager & Ken is playing in the pit orchestra.  I am loving my role as mom/head family cheerleader.

Today marks the end of my first week doing Tina Reale's Best Body Bootcamp.

Tina sends out 2 weeks worth of workouts at a time for a total of 8 weeks.

We are also encouraged to set two goals per two weeks.  

My goals for these two weeks are:

~ Incorporate fruits and/or vegetables into 3 meals per day. (at least 5 days per week)


~ Cook our family dinners at home. (at least 5 days per week)

I am happy to say that I met both of these goals this week.  I picked the second one on purpose knowing that we had a busy week planned.  When the family gets busy, we start eating out or ordering takeout. So, I challenged myself to provide healthy meals at home to fuel my family.

We cooked at home every day this week except for Friday.  
(We actually ate at home on Friday, but I'm not counting it since we ordered pizza.  
I did make a salad though!)
