A Whole Holiday Week and a Little Giveaway Tease

It's Monday... but not just any Monday! It's the Monday before Thanksgiving.
I don't know about you, but this whole week is starting to feel like a holiday to me!

Yesterday I was driving around with the girls and (I'm not even kidding) we saw Santa riding around on a Harley!  He was blasting Christmas music too!

Katie tried to get a picture but Santa sped off on us.

Then later, Ken texts me this picture.
Same Santa, same Harley. You didn't think there were two, did you?

I was so excited because I had the picture to show you.  I was also pretty happy because this picture proves that Ken is on board with me in going around town thinking,
"Hey, that would be fun to put on the blog!".  Everyone is on board. ha!

Today marks the beginning of the Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge.  I printed my journal and I am ready to kick my own bootie!  You can still join the challenge if you're interested... make sure to say that Rhonda from Kids Running Wild sent you!

Also this week, I'm doing my LIVE stream of One Fit Mama over at MomTV.
Join me tomorrow (Tuesday) at my  new time, 1:00 PM ET!

We'll chat about keeping our "One Fit Mama" status during the holidays!

On Thanksgiving morning, my family will be participating in our local Turkey Trot 5K.  This has become a Thanksgiving tradition for us.  My BRF, Kristina and I first walked in the 5K in 2004.  At that time, we were certain that we could never become runners.

On our Saturday morning run this past weekend we decided that we are happy to have been wrong back then.  Running is such a source of happiness for both of us.  We can't imagine going back to a time when running isn't part of our friendship.

During that first Turkey Trot, Kristina and I headed to the race together- just the two of us.

This year we'll take Grandma Glo, Katie and Mandy with us.  We expect to see many familiar faces at the race!  Our other tradition is a mad run through the drive-thru at Tim Horton's after the race.
We all get beverages and a mixed dozen donuts.

I'm fairly sure I'll be thankful for my peppermint mocha latte.

So clearly I've got lots to look forward to this week!

I don't want you feeling left out, so here's something for you to look forward to...

Tomorrow I'll be announcing a fantastic giveaway!  I'm really excited about this product- my tired legs will be enjoying it after the 5K on Thursday.  How's that for a teaser?

What are you looking forward to
during Thanksgiving week?
