WIAW- would you like some Endorphins with that?

It's Wednesday so you know we're talking food over here!

Tuesday morning I got up early and packed this fabulous little salad for Ken to take to work.
It might look familiar, but I replaced my favorite Parmesan with some Feta Cheese.  
(mostly because that's what was in the fridge)

Then I enjoyed my breakfast smoothie.  
This week's version includes strawberries, blackberries and a banana.
Which reminds me, there are no bananas left. I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow.

Then we headed off to the Erie Zoo, so lunch was on-the-go. 
 I packed one of these GNC Lean Shakes.

At dinnertime, the girls headed off to the Fair with Grandma & Grandpa.  Ken & I were left to enjoy dinner- just the two of us.  This is totally abnormal around here.

I made yet another big salad (no picture.  Honestly, I show you too many salads)
Then I grilled some shrimp for us.

Last week I told you how to make Crispy Shrimp.

Grilled shrimp is even easier.  Here are the ingredients.

You can get the Grilling Shrimp in the seafood department of your grocery store, but they will be frozen.  
Take out what you need and put it in a colander.  
Run cool water over the shrimp until they are thawed.

You can peel them or just leave the peels on.  It's really up to you.

Toss the shrimp in a little EVOO and Garlic Salt. 
(I go heavy on the garlic- you do what you want)

Put them on a heated grill pan or your outdoor grill meat side down.

The meat will turn from grey to white and get pretty grill marks on it.  
When it turns white, get it off the grill! It's done! 
If you leave it on any longer, it will be tough & rubbery. Yuck.

I chose 13.1 since it's my current favorite distance.

Katie chose the word "Conquer".  
Mandy chose one that says "As I Dance... As I Dance... the universe is dancing with me."

This one is really fitting for Mandy as she loves to dance.  Remember this video?
