Back in the Groove and a Winner

We are getting back into the groove of going to school around here.

I am thrilled to report that I managed to send two girls to two different schools yesterday with no tears.
(insert HUGE sigh of relief here)

Katie is officially a Jr. High student now.  She is too cool to have her mother walk her to the bus stop now.  That's fine- she knows where to find me when she gets hungry or needs money.

Mandy is now a third grader.  She likes her teacher, who allowed her to sit next to her best bud on the first day.  Mandy thinks that this is proof that the teacher has good sense.  I think that lady doesn't know what she's in for.

I am looking forward to getting back into my routine.  I've really slacked on my swim workouts this summer.  It's hard to swim too seriously when Katie & Mandy are in and out of my lane suggesting weird drills for me to try.

Today I'm headed for the pool to swim 1500 yards.  I'll let you know how it goes.

If you don't hear form me, send help.  I may be sleeping on a deck chair.

Thank you to all the folks who stopped by to enter the Endorphin Warrior Training Bracelet giveaway. We really love ours!
(and no, we didn't wear them at the Color Me Rad race- we didn't want them tie-dyed)

Unfortunately, I can only choose one winner.

Drumroll please...

I'm going to try that in my next race.  Perhaps it will work better than cursing at myself.

Heather- send me an e-mail with your shipping address and I'll pass it on to Eric at Endorphin Warrior.

Everyone else- Thanks for playing.
Please follow Kids Running Wild on facebook or @krwblog on twitter so you don't miss anything.

Also, I'd just love it if you guys would subscribe to my YouTube channel.  I've got a BIG announcement coming next week and I'm going to make it first over there.
(I'm itching to tell you, but we have to be patient)

Have a great day!
