Well friends, Saturday was loads of fun. Now that I have recovered, I'll tell you all about it.
The nice people from Gutzy Gear sent me a party package. Katie & Mandy were so excited when a whole box full of fun landed on our doorstep.
We are always ready for a party around here, so we hurried up to invite friends over!
Fun crowd, huh?
So what exactly is Gutzy Gear?
Gutzy Gear begins with sleeves that go on your backpack straps.
Add in some fun patches and personalize your backpack.
We started our party by playing Gutzy Bingo. I gave each guest a little bag of M&M's to use for markers. We all had a really hard time not eating the chocolate immediately.
Eventually we ate the chocolate and also devoured these Gutzy cupcakes.
Everyone got to pick out patches and decorate their backpack sleeves.
Everyone agreed that the velcro on these is serious stuff.
The little kids needed help getting their sleeves organized, but we decided that stronger was better. That way, the sleeves won't accidentally fall off or get ripped off in the hustle & bustle
of school hallways.
After our bellies were full we got creative and designed some Gutzy Gear patches.
Mandy designed a patch shaped like Popcorn, her leopard gecko.
(by the way, he was the highlight of the party)
It's hard to see in the picture, but Christian designed a very cool Olympics patch.
Katie's designs incorporated her two favorite things, music & mermaids.
Personally, I was a big fan of Quinn's design. She named it "Eyeball Flower".
Big thanks to Gutzy Gear for giving us an excuse for a fun party!
We have one pair of Gutzy backpack sleeves and a set of patches left and we're giving them away!
To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment here or on our facebook page and tell me what Gutzy kid you'd give them to.
I'll announce the winner's name on Friday!
