I'm feeling a little random today. I hope you don't mind.
On Monday, Mandy decided to do her own little triathlon.
She rode around our block on her bike. Then she ran around the block. (our block is 1/2 a mile around) And then she jumped into our pool to cool off.
The pool is pretty cold right now.
Yes, she went in fully clothed just like her Mom does after a run.
It feels great- you should try it!

The girls, Grandma Glo & I were in the HerTimes magazine again this month.
My friend Heather does an amazing job as the race director for this girls-only race.
I hear that this year's t-shirts are HOT PINK! Registration is only $15 and includes free baby-sitting. There are also races for the kids which are FREE.
I hope to see lots of familiar faces there on race day morning!
Since I quit LiveFit I've had more time for swimming, circuit training & one of my favorites- yoga.
When I spend time on the mat on a regular basis I notice less aches & pains in my joints, particularly my hips. But, when I say that to my runner friends they claim to have no time for stretching or yoga. I have found that a little goes a long way when it comes to stretching.
So, I made you this video. Here is a two-minute stretching routine that you can do right at the end of your run. Try it- I think you'll be surprised at how much better you feel when you allow your muscles to cool down and stretch out.
And if you like a two-minute stretch, maybe you'll find time for more.
