Just a quick Sunday night post.
This morning I ran the Presque Isle Half Marathon. My fantastic family took me out for brunch & we spent the afternoon napping & watching a movie. It was a great day.
I'll give you a full race report tomorrow, but for now I wanted to show you our dinner.

Tonight I made Grilled Lamb Chops.
I took a picture of the package for you because this warning just cracked me up.
Seriously? Are there people who would just toss that whole package into the microwave? Wow.
Ok, before you can grill these little guys you have to cut the chops apart. This is generally no easy task. Hubby must have taken pity on me because I'm tired from all the running. He produced this filet knife from his fishing stash.
This thing worked great! It sliced through the bony part of the chops like they were butter.
Valuable tip: If your guy likes to fish, he probably has a really awesome knife somewhere. Go find it.
I made a little dipping sauce to go with the chops.
It's so easy.
1 container of plain Greek yogurt. (the single serving size)
juice from 1/2 a lemon
paprika & cumin to taste
(you don't need much)
Mix all the ingredients together. It's delicious!
We added this salad and called it a meal. My tomatoes are just starting to ripen in the garden. I always forget how much better they taste than the ones you buy in the winter.
Oh, did you want to see a picture of the finished lamb chops?
Sorry, we ate them and I forgot to photograph them for you.
Here's a lamb chop picture I found in a cookbook for you.
We can all just pretend mine were that pretty.
I hope you had a great weekend.
What have you been eating?
