I'm happy today to join Powercakes in her Powermeal-a-week challenge. So every Sunday in July I'll show you what we're eating. Maybe you'll be inspired or maybe you'll give me some better ideas.
When you finish here, head over to PowerCakes and see what everyone else is eating.
Summer means grilling around here. I just love this time of year because it means that I select our grill-able item and my dear hubby does the grilling. He gets to indulge his inner pyromanic every night when he lights up the charcoal, I get delicious food. It's a win-win.
Last night we grilled some snow crab clusters.
I like doing these because it's a meal the whole family likes.
Katie & Mandy are champs at cracking those shells.
My garden is just getting to the point where it is beginning to produce some food. Last night these were ready to go so they went into my salad.
I can't even tell you how good that jalapeno was. Just the right balance of sweet & heat.
I finally finished up these greens last night.
Good thing I bought more today.
I also grilled some bell peppers.
These were from the grocery store- the ones in my garden aren't ready just yet.
There were more- Ken ate some before I could get the camera out.
I sliced mine and added them to my ridiculously large salad.
Ken just ate them alone.
So that's my super simple meal.
It was actually from Saturday night because today we were at a tea party so we didn't eat at home.
We did get to wear fancy hats!
Happy Sunday night eating everyone!
