Can you tell I'm excited about the PB Crave? I put an exclamation point right in the title of this post. Yep, that's how excited I am.
First, you need to know that it's What I Ate Wednesday. Jenn over at Peas & Crayons has decided that June is sensible snacking month. So, I'm not sure how sensible we are over here but we'll try. Just for Jenn.
Mandy is head-over-heels in love with Hooligan pancakes.
This is what she requests if there is no R, W & B bread available.
I am working to make sure that my summer snacking mostly looks like this:
Now here's the part you've been waiting for.
Yesterday these guys left the beach and came over to my house.
I may or may not have immediately opened all four jars
and stuck a spoon in there.
Katie & Mandy came home and we got to work with some serious taste-testing.
This is what Katie looks like eating her fave,
Coco Bananas flavored PB Crave.
Please- don't interrupt while she's having a moment.
This is what Mandy looks like eating her fave, Cookie Nookie PB Crave.
Mandy enjoyed her toast this morning with some Cookie Nookie on it.
She also just enjoys saying, "Cookie Nookie". Go ahead, say it, it's fun.
Katie & Mandy both thought that all the flavors were just wonderful. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what they said. It's hard to say as their mouths were quite full.
Once the kids were in bed, Ken & I tried out the Razzle Dazzle in our PB ball recipe. This recipe keeps changing over time so I'll give you the current version. Quick, no bake snacks.
5 scoops of evaporated non-fat milk
1 scoop sugar or splenda or other sweetener of your choice
1 scoop cream cheese
4 scoops nut butter of your choice
mini chocolate chips or mini M & Ms (optional)
Mix all ingredients together. I use my hands.
What's a scoop? It's up to you.
Last night I used a small scoop from Pampered Chef.
I think it's meant for making melon balls or something like that.
If I want a bigger batch I could use the ice cream scoop.
Form the dough into balls & refrigerate.
Or you can eat them right away-
I don't know how much self control you have.
I didn't use chocolate chips for these ones because the Razzle Dazzle already has chocolate in there.
In retrospect, you can never have too much chocolate.
These were fantastic. Ken says, "decadent".
I'll probably make some more for the kids.
I also dumped a little Razzle Dazzle on my ice cream. Chocolate ice cream would have been even better, but I only had vanilla.
Yes, I ate it while sitting on the couch. Because I'm the Mom that's why.
I'm thinking about making peanut butter cookies with the Coco Banana flavor.
Doesn't that sound yummy?
If I do, I'll tell you all about it in another post.
The nice people at PB Crave are going to give one of you
a Choco Choco Variety Pack!
(a $20.97 value delivered to your door)
Don't you just want to eat them up? Of course you do.
