Happy Weekend-ing!

Weekend-ing can be a word right? Ha.

I feel like "weekend" should be a verb sometimes since it is the time for much activity!

We started Friday with yet another Tim Horton's run.

Don't worry, Katie played photographer while I drove.  Katie's most recent favorite is an Iced Capp Mocha with a shot of mint chocolate. I taste-tested and she's right, it's really awesome.

Once we were caffeinated (not Mandy, she had a smoothie) we went to swim team practice.

That's Mandy in the pink goggles wondering when practice will ever end.
That pool is huge when you're her size.

I went for a run while the girls worked in the pool.  Then I came back and admired my new kicks while I waited for them.
Aren't they fun?  My BRF says my feet look like they are having a party.

We picked up Katie's friend and headed for the Erie Zoo.  We love that place.
The membership is totally worth it.

The animals in the petting zoo were all hiding under their awning because it was pretty hot.
Mandy lured this guy out and 5 minutes later he was the best groomed animal at the zoo.

These guys are my favorite.  However, I do think that the manhole cover sort of ruins the illusion of a "natural habitat" doesn't it?
This sign in the kangaroo exhibit always cracks me up.
I immediately think "Hey, me too!"

Then we came home and Daddy grilled for us.  And that was just Friday!

This morning I ran with Kristina- she did 5 miles and she's only 3 months post-partum.  What a rock star!

Next week I've got a fun giveaway, but it's just for the folks on the facebook page.  So, if you haven't already, make sure you "like" the page.  You don't want to miss out on free stuff!

Happy Weekend-ing!

What are you & your mob doing this weekend?
What's your favorite animal at the zoo?
(Katie likes the giraffes.  Mandy like elephants, but we have to go to Cleveland to see those)
