Live Fit Nutrition and Tuesday Trainer

Yesterday I told you about my ongoing experience with Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer.  I'm moving into Phase 2 this week and I've debated on how to handle my nutrition.  Jamie's plan (and many other clean-eating plans) recommend eating 6 meals per day.  Although I understand the logic of eating every 3 hours and super-charging your metabolism, I have trouble executing this plan.

I simply find it stressful to fit all those meals in.  I spend way too much time thinking about what I'm going to eat and what time I'm going to eat it.  For instance, if I have an afternoon snack at 4:00, then dinner should be around 7:00.  But, what if the family is hungry at 5:30?  Do I eat again later?  This is all too much for me.  I enjoy food and I'd like to keep it that way.

So, here's what I'm trying this week:
Breakfast
Lunch #1
Lunch #2
Dinner
optional evening snack (depends on timing of dinner- I'll only eat if I'm hungry)

I will eat most of my carbs in the first two meals.

This week's theme was Balance, so we headed outside to demonstrate Tree Pose for you.

Since this blog is all about getting active with kids, my kiddos are in the video.

Katie wasn't sure if she was in the mood to do this.  Ultimately she decided that if Mandy got to be in the video without her she'd be sorry later.  Smart girl.

You can hear Mandy's friend from next door yelling "Hi Mandy!" out her window.  I was so impressed that Mandy did not run off.
